VMAs What even?! From a twenty year old and mom's perspective

I would have been there but for the first time in a long time, I stayed in school and missed an event; SHOCKING.

My mom and I watched the VMAs, my mom is almost 50 and we for the most part agreed on everything.

Rihanna.  I am a fan of hers till this performance. She grabbed her lower half numerous times and her breast, not to mention the guy on stage with her grabbed her butt.  I wanted it to be more about the music, to play music you don't need to do that.

I've been living under a rock I have no idea who Frank Ocean is, seems like a cool guy. Mom agreed.

P!nk I adore you and your performance cute lip dancers! (Let's see how many people can actually spell her name right with the !) Love that CoverGirl is featuring your tattoos with no airbrushing!

Katy Perry, you're incredible I love you thee end.

One Direction, your fans are INSANE. Okay performance. Mom is sick of the screaming girls.

Gabby Douglas, I don't get why everyone just knows her. There are 5 girls on the gymnastics team they deserve equal stardom.

Green Day, Great Job to Billie for performing while semi-sick still. I couldn't tell!

Demi Lovato did a pre-show performance it was really cool to see my friends on stage with her.  My mom immedeately screamed at my friend and guitar teacher Mike. It was the best.

Taylor Swift, as always you put on a PERFECT performance. I loved seeing Scotty and friends on stage with you. And the Agency (Taylor's Band) dressed up as cute furry woodland animals. My mom was singing along and loving Taylor's bouncing pony tail!
